Babb's Covered Bridge, Cumberland County, Maine

Babb's Bridge is a covered bridge spanning the Presumpscot River on Hurricane Road between Gorham and Windham in Cumberland County, Maine. The original structure was built in 1864 and was destroyed by arson in 1973. The current structure, built in 1976, is an exact replica of the original 19th-century bridge. It is the only covered bridge in Cumberland County and was damaged by an overweight dump truck on 8/23/2024.
