Deer's Mill Covered Bridge, Montgomery County, Indiana
Deer's Mill Covered Bridge was built in 1878 by Joseph J. Daniels as a two-span structure crossing Sugar Creek in southwestern Montgomery County, Indiana near Alamo. The bridge derives its name from flour and woolen mills formerly located at the site. It was bypassed in 1968 and is now closed to motorized traffic but remains standing in a scenic area near Shades State Park.
