Cox Ford Covered Bridge, Parke County, Indiana
The Cox Ford Covered Bridge crosses Sugar Creek along the western edge of Turkey Run State Park in Parke County, Indiana. The current 1913 single-span Burr Arch truss structure was built by J.A. Britton as a replacement after the original 1896 iron span was destroyed in the 1913 flood. The bridge has a length of 160 feet with a portal clearance of 16 feet wide by 13 feet in height.
