Goddard or White Covered Bridge, Fleming County, Kentucky
The Goddard Covered Bridge crosses Sand Lick Creek in Fleming County, Kentucky, and is the only surviving example of Ithiel Town lattice truss design in Kentucky. Timbers are joined with wooden pegs. Originally located one mile south on KY32, the bridge was moved to its present location in 1932 and underwent a major rebuild in 2007. It remains open to traffic and has been restored to preserve its original structure.
