McCleery-Walter Covered Bridge, Fairfield County, Ohio
The McCleery Covered Bridge is a 52-foot Multiple Kingpost structure built in 1864 by Jacob 'Blue Jeans' Brandt as his first major bridge contract. Originally spanning Walnut Creek, it was relocated to the James Walters property in 1983 and moved again to its current location on May 21, 2006, where it now crosses Fetters Run. The bridge was shortened from its original length and now serves pedestrians on the Lancaster Bike Path (Fairfield Heritage Trail) in Fairfield County, Ohio.
