Kidwell Covered Bridge, Athens County, Ohio
The Kidwell Covered Bridge is a one-span Howe truss covered bridge spanning Sunday Creek in Dover Township, Athens County, Ohio, built in 1880. Located on Monserat Ridge Road one mile north of Truetown, it features vertical high-boarded siding, a metal roof, and cut-stone abutments. The bridge was closed in 1978 due to structural damage from an overweight truck but was subsequently restored and reopened.
