Will Henry Stevens Covered Bridge, Macon County, North Carolina

The Will Henry Stevens Covered Bridge is a Town lattice truss bridge spanning 80.1 feet over a creek on private drive in Macon County, North Carolina. Originally built in the 1830s in Warner, New Hampshire as 29-07-06 (Bagley) to span the Warner River, it was put in storage in 1966. The bridge was subsequently rebuilt and installed by Arnold M. Graton Associates and relocated to its current location near Highlands and Sapphire, where it serves as the entrance to the Bascom Center, a six-acre art campus. The bridge remains open to private traffic.
