Roddy Road Covered Bridge, Frederick County, Maryland

The Roddy Road Covered Bridge, built in 1856, is a single-span Kingpost timber bridge crossing Owens Creek near Thurmont in Frederick County, Maryland. Measuring 40 feet long and 16 feet wide with 12 feet 8 inches clearance, it is the smallest of the county's covered bridges. The bridge has been rebuilt as an entirely new replica structure and is maintained by the county parks and recreation department.
