Loys Station Covered Bridge, Frederick County, Maryland

Loys Station Covered Bridge is a one-lane, twin-span multiple king post wood truss covered bridge crossing Owens Creek above Creagerstown on Old Frederick Road in Frederick County, Maryland. The bridge is 90 feet in length and rests on two stone abutments. Originally built in 1848, it was reinforced with concrete and steel around 1930, then damaged by arson in 1991 and subsequently rebuilt in 1994. The bridge sustained vehicle damage twice in 2013. The planking and clapboarding are identical to the Roddy Road Bridge.
