Colvin Covered Bridge, Bedford County, Pennsylvania

The Colvin Covered Bridge is a multiple king-post truss structure spanning Shawnee Creek near Schellsburg in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. Built in 1880 by J H Thompson, it measures 66 feet in span and 12 feet in width and rests on concrete abutments. The bridge is county-owned and was rebuilt in 1998, with recent refurbishment completing its restoration.
