Pinetown or Amish Covered Bridge, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania

The Pinetown Covered Bridge is a single-span wooden Burr arch truss bridge with steel hanger rods, built in 1867 by Elias McMellen to cross the Conestoga River in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Also known as the Big Conestoga #6 Bridge, it is county-owned and maintained. The bridge was restored in 1974 after floating downstream during Tropical Storm Agnes in 1972, and again in 2013 following flood damage from Tropical Depression Lee in the summer of 2011.
