Hunsecker's Mill Covered Bridge, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania

Hunsecker Mill Covered Bridge is a single-span wooden bridge built in 1843 spanning the Conestoga River near Bird in Hand, Pennsylvania. The bridge is notable for its horizontal floorboards that create a unique vibration when crossed. It was damaged in a 1972 flood (Tropical Storm Agnes) and subsequently rebuilt by PENDOT in 1973. The bridge was closed from September 16, 2010 due to vehicle damage and reopened in February 2011.
