Lyle Covered Bridge, Washington County, Pennsylvania

The Lyle Covered Bridge is a Queen post truss bridge built in 1887 crossing Brush Run at the eastern border of Hillman State Park in Raccoon, Washington County, Pennsylvania. The 38-foot long, 12-foot wide bridge features a cedar shake roof, vertical board siding with six rectangular windows, and stone and mortar abutments. The bridge remains open to vehicles and pedestrians.
