Barronvale Covered Bridge, Somerset County, Pennsylvania

Built in 1830, the Barronvale Covered Bridge is a two-span Burr truss bridge spanning Laurel Hill Creek in Middlecreek Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Measuring 162 feet 3 inches in length and 13 feet 10 inches in width, it is the longest covered bridge in Somerset County. Wooden arches were added in 1845 to strengthen the bridge, with further repairs made in 1902 and 1907. The bridge is currently open to foot traffic only.
