Hewitt Covered Bridge, Bedford County, Pennsylvania

The Hewitt Covered Bridge is a Burr truss bridge built in 1879, located in Southampton Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania, spanning Town Creek south of Chaneysville. The bridge measures 88.5 feet in length and 14 feet in width, with a shallow gable roof and vertical plank construction. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
