Forksville Covered Bridge, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania

The Forksville Covered Bridge is a single-span Burr arch truss bridge built in 1850 by 18-year-old Sadler Rogers over Loyalsock Creek in Forksville borough, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. The bridge measures 152 feet 11 inches long and 15 feet wide, with a roadway surface sufficient for single-lane traffic and a posted clearance of 8 feet. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 24, 1980, and remains in use as a Pennsylvania state highway bridge with average daily traffic of 240 vehicles as of 2014.
